Our Story

Our team has more than 100 years of expertise in environmental services specifically in the wastewater, landfill, hazardous waste, and environmental remediation sectors.

For decades, our leadership team has handled wastewater treatment, operations, and management, landfill ownership and management, leachate water management, site assessments, thermal desorption, bioremediation/bioventing for soil and groundwater, groundwater remediation and treatment systems, underground recovery systems, underground storage tank petroleum contamination, soil vapor extraction, air sparging, commercial chemical management at a Fortune 50 company.

Our team includes one of the original innovators in this sector, Aleksandr Mykytuik, PhD who worked extensively on the Chernobyl cleanup project in Ukraine.

A veteran business person who is always looking for the next big challenge, Dave Kratz has been a driving force behind our business from the start, and with his passion and decades of experience in business and the waste industry, he continues to lead Great America Water LLC to be at the forefront in wastewater technology.
